IT support in Kilchberg: networks, devices & backup

Everyday technology should work together: router, Wi-Fi, computer, phone and backups. Pahl Digital Art helps with selection, setup and support, on site by arrangement or remotely from the studio.

What do you need help with?

Wi-Fi does not reach every room, a new computer needs setting up, or files and calendars are missing on a second device? Describe the problem you observe and the result you need. Reviewing existing backups with a recovery test is another concrete starting point.

Include the location and affected devices in your enquiry. We then establish what can be handled remotely, where an on-site appointment is needed, and how scope and billing will work.

Networks and Wi-Fi

Routers, access points, cabling and permissions are configured as one system. Planning considers rooms, devices, Wi-Fi coverage and separate guest and operational networks. Clear documentation makes later changes easier.

Device advice and setup

Before you buy, we clarify which equipment your work actually needs. Setup, connections to existing systems and an introduction to daily use follow. Recommendations are based on your requirements and are vendor-independent.

Cloud, synchronisation and permissions

Files, contacts, calendars and mailboxes should stay current on the intended devices. We connect cloud services, organise shares and transfer existing data with checks. Who may view and change information is explicitly part of the setup.

Backup and recovery

Automatic backups must be restorable when something goes wrong. The approach includes an additional off-site copy, a clear status check and a rehearsed recovery procedure. A synchronised file alone does not replace an independent backup.

Clear billing

On-site IT support: CHF 69.00 per hour. Remote support from the studio: CHF 59.00 per hour. An agreed fixed price is possible for clearly defined work. Scope, location and other conditions are discussed before work begins.

Common questions

Can equipment be set up at my location?

Yes, on-site work is part of the service. Include your location, the affected devices and the issue in your enquiry so that we can agree on scope and timing.

What should a backup review cover?

Which data is protected, where independent copies are kept, how failures are detected and whether recovery works. The procedure needs to fit the devices and the potential outage.
